Sutton High-School Washroom Refurbishment

Sutton High-School provides a rigorous academic curriculum for local girls aged 3-18. This privately-owned establishment is proud of its strong history and affiliation with the Girls’ Day School Trust.

Recognising a need for a full school washroom refurbishment. Sutton High-School wanted their facilities to reflect the rest of the premises. An upgrade from the tired-looking toilet facilities.

A 3-week project on the 14m2 washrooms transformed these facilities from dull to desirable. Resulting in a modern, sleek & stylish feel. Finished in contemporary colours & use of large mirrors. These small washrooms now feel more welcoming and larger in appearance.

Before Interfix could carry out the desired work, they worked with external contractors to resolve existing issues with damp. Proving Interfix’s excellent capability to work with third parties and being flexible. The washrooms were completed in swift timing.

Work began by stripping out the old facilities and installing a new ceiling with lots of lighting. New windows were installed, allowing the light to fill the full room. New cubicles, vanity units, and sanitaryware were also installed.

Offering extra safety to these facilities, non-slip flooring was installed. Non-slip flooring is a great option for wet environments, especially for facilities servicing children. Another benefit of non-slip floor tiles is that they’re easy to clean, which means you can maintain that ‘just laid’ look for longer.

The team were all DBS checked & qualified before entry to the premises, due to working during term-time. Interfix are happy to provide  DBS records for any school project, or when requested.

Sutton High-School now boasts washroom facilities that meet the same standard as their prestigious education curriculum. Offering delightful experiences for all students.
